In English-speaking countries such as the United States, AoT, which shortens the Attack on Titan, which has another meaning that the title advances to the giant, or Shingeki no Kyojin, which translates the Japanese title as it is called SnK.


2. Plot

One day, the placenta of humanity is eaten by the mysterious cannibal giants who suddenly appeared, and humanity is in danger of extinction. The survivors of life have built a massive 50-meter-high three-walled wall, Wall Maria, Wall Rose, and Wall Sina, where they flee and live in an era of peace for over 100 years.

And in 845, more than 100 years later, most residents settle for long-lasting peace, while the protagonist Ellen Yeager feels a great dissatisfaction with the world where people are surrounded by giants and live like cattle in the walls. He aspires to go outside the wall and explore the world freely. Almost everybody accepts without any doubt that he enjoys the peace given inside the wall and treats himself as a separate type who wants to go out of the wall and dreams up by encouraging the investigating group to go outside the barrier every month outside of Maria even if she does this.

One day when childhood friends Mikasa Ackerman, Armin Allerto and the three of them walked the streets together, numerous civilians were killed by giants who came through the hole of the wall of a giant giant who suddenly appeared in the old city of Times or Old Wall. The peace of the world collapses in the wall created for 100 years. After seeing the terrible spectacle that Mother Carla Jaeger is being eaten by the giant, Ellen feels vengeful and vows to build all the giants on earth.
